Information to help you manage your relationships while caring for ageing parents
Families are complex and as your parent ages, they can get even more complicated. You might feel that you have reversed roles with your parent so that you’re now in charge, or you may feel that you are bearing more of the burden than your siblings, or you might be one of the ‘sandwich generation’ caring for both an ageing parent and children or even grandchildren of your own. Whatever the issues are, good communication is vital to help you manage your relationships so they are as positive as they can be during these potentially stressful times.
Here on Carers’ Circle we’ll discuss all sorts of relationship issues with the aim for you to support your ageing parent in a positive way.
